Who I am

I am an engineer, working in the control and protection of energy systems. My first degree was in mechanical enginnering, with focus on design and automation. I was always fascinated by the combination of mechanical and electrical systems, automation and software. As a result I later pursued a PhD in robotics, which I completed in 2009 at the NTUA (National Technical University of Athens, Greece).

Why I maintain a webpage

It comes down to three main reasons:
* I like to share things I am interested in
* I enjoy documenting some of the technical stuff I do
* I enjoy writing in html (still using the vi(m) editor!)
